This family-owned business was started in 2009 when Aneen followed Harold back to his roots in the Karoo. They lived on the family farm for six years and later moved to the small town of Calvinia. Harold has very strong ties to his birthplace, the land, and the people. Throughout his life, the Karoo remained magnetic, and although his primary home is now in the Swartland, his family shares in this longing for the wide-open spaces and dirt roads of the Karoo. All six of them have Calvinia in common as their happy place. They honor the beautiful memories and simple lifestyle and will always return home, to Malanstraat. After 15 years of dedication and growth, a friend suggested they brand their successful business, with the hope of creating a legacy of opportunities for all four of their children.
